Phoenix Rising is a performing arts troupe which originated in Santa Cruz, 
CA that specializes in fire dance theatre, stilting, costume design and wearable art. Sacred theater, personal expression, and a unique blend of traditional dance and spontaneous movement are combined to tell stories of passion, creation, love, and mischief.
Phoenix Rising paints a colorful, exciting landscape that allows imagination to carry the audience beyond their day to day reality.
Jessica Bottomley and Isaac Rappaport are the core members of this troupe, although many other musicians and artists have collaborated with them. Creative expression began to flow early in the lives of both Jessica and Isaac. While Jessica focused on theater and dance, Isaac explored the realm of circus art.
Liquid Fire Mantra is a fusion of dance, theater and circus. Forest Schrodt founded the company is 1997 in Ashland, Oregon. LFM has performed worldwide at 
major musical events, festivals, weddings, private events and LFM productions. The 15 to 45-minute shows integrate many different art forms, creating a multi-dimensonal performance. The primary tools are fire and mask dancing, suppored by choreography, video projection and a custom-made musical score. Shows are created without fire props, such as swords, LED lights, fans and dancing wings. Traveling to Bali Indonesia, LFM has studied Balinese dance and is greatly influenced by the Balinese ritual theater.
LFM is also trained in modern dance with Rosalind Schrodt, which include the methods of Bill Evans, Martha Graham, Bartenieff Fundamentals. In addition, study of Frey Faust's Axis Syllabus, Belly dance, Salsa, Swing, Nia, Kung Fu, Aikido, and many years of yoga. Liquid Fire Mantra's passion in life is expressed through memorable performances that invoke hope and inspiration.
Superbaby consists of Lila Donnolo, Jacob Handwerker, and James Pintado. We 
are some or all of us acrobats, yoga teachers, capoeiristas, cartoonists, tango dancers, bhangra dancers, martial artists, bodyworkers, singers, actors, poets, and generally creative and genial folk.
supLila is the only certified AcroYoga instructor between Seattle and San Francisco! James and Jacob have trained intensively with AcroYoga co-founders Jason Nemer and Jenny Sauer-Klein. We are lovers of flying and being flown, and we are thrilled to share some anti-gravitational time with you.
