Sacred Art Vigil - Dreaming Conex:us

A 36+ hour devotional live painting environment will be created to harness the ecstatic energy of the festival and transform this co:nectar into a large visionary masterpiece which all attendees will subtly influence with their presence. Led by painters David Heskin, Aloria Weaver & Eric Nez, this multi-limbed art deity once again evolves its offering to the art spirit. dreamingconex.us

Aloria Weaver studied the human form extensively and passionately for a number of years, then began exploring sacred geometry and pattern, and is subsequently working towards the integration of those elements. After exploring a variety of mediums, including metal casting, ceramic sculpture, photography, & printmaking, she dedicated herself to oil painting, and has been painting for well over a decade.

Aloria has shown her work in a multitude of prestigious locations in the US, including the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art in Oregon, Alex Grey's CoSM Gallery in NYC, and the Hive Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout Europe, Aloria’s artwork has been exhibited and sold in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, and Holland. Underlying all of Aloria's work is a belief that the highest function of a human being is to love, and the highest function of Art is to point to the transcendental spiritual nature of human beings, facilitating healing on all levels.

It is her belief that to assume the highest role of an artist is to become a healer, a visionary, and an intermediary between the realms of humanity and divinity. It is to work ceaselessly for the benefit of all living beings, to live from the heart. lightweave.org

David Heskin is driven to create by our mysterious Divine source, while chronicling his path of awakening on this heavenly Earth, David’s purpose in creativity is one of sharing inspiration. Not only in regards to Art, but more importantly, reflecting upon the necessity of humyns to find nourishing ways in which to harmonize with all other life systems. This most basic concept of co:creation guides his artistic dreaming.

Naturally, modeling this principle of unified dreaming through a growing & morphing team of artists has manifested as a way to live the message of planetary cooperation, as well as becoming an epic opportunity to create on levels unavailable to the solo artist. Inextricably woven into a vast & intricate tapestry of Cultural Creatives spanning more mediums & methods than are possibly knowable, it is Davids ultimate honor to be recognized in his artistic offerings toward our highest collective destiny.

“My paintings are ALIVE! As such, like us, they are entities in progress, striving toward greater understanding of their own selves in the universe.” newskinstudio.com

Eric Nez Painting was a gift given to Eric Nez at an early age. His parents (an artist and a Yogini, both lovers of life) ensured that he had plenty of tools to express his innermost realms. A devoted artist-mystic, Nez is both a visionary and a cultivator of the soul. Tending the garden of personal transformation… offering to the sacred self: nurturing environments, wholesome nutrients, divine light, and love in order to grow the fruit of the spirit and share it with the Universe.

The Muses of yoga, plant medicines, alchemy, and magic lay their offerings at the feet of Nez. His creative process is deeply influenced by transpersonal psychology and the spiritual sciences, as well as intergalactic experiences. The spirits of the mystics all gather around Eric’s studio to whisper in his ear and guide his hand as he paints.

The art of Eric Nez is both a stepping-stone and a chronicle of his evolution of consciousness. Explorations of distinctly different worlds, powerful life experiences, and teachings from ascended masters… all of these find a home in the work of Nez. His every painting is offered up to the universal collective as a catalyst for transformation. ericnez.com

My marks are immediate and authentic; abstractions of my true nature in harmony with existence. I try to allow the lines to flow where they want to, unobstructed, free from construct and concept, getting out of the way enough to be an open channel for this painted form of language to come through. By following the impulse of the energy taking form in line, color, shape, and tone, I stimulate a release on canvas with paint. Art allows me to express my inner voice, guidance, connection to spirit, and sensuality. Through the artistic process I’ve discovered my creative rhythm and fundamental pulse; a breath and heartbeat, with my brush and paint.

I’m constantly inspired and influenced by my artistic peers. Being able to share our processes, transmit ideas and new techniques with each other, and especially share canvases has created a community where interaction is art. I’ve experienced immense joy and fulfillment through these collaborations. It is a process that I find to be full of trust, flow, surrender, release, healing, co-creation, blessings, breakthrough, growth, renewal, stamina, balance, love, dedication and friendship. In addition, live performance painting has given me the opportunity to share my gifts and to not be afraid to shine in front of thousands, completing the role of the artist in community. This experience allows me to stay present in the moment and share what I have come to this planet to do; share life as creative, as love, as art.

Nature is an emerging visionary permaculture artist whose primary medium is the natural world always growing, expanding, and spreading his angelic wings.

dance with the divine,
play everyday,
love in every way, say what you mean,
and dream, dream, DREAM!

Nature’s mission and vision as an artist is to co-create a dream reality that manifests Heaven on Earth in all it’s shapes and forms. He feels that the power of intention times the power of imagination equals infinite possibilities of peace. Nature strives to live in a state of ecstatic bliss consciousness and unconditional love.
